The first step in applying for Catholic Housing Services is to fill out the Pre-Application form. This form should help you determine if you are eligible for housing with us.  Drop off the completed application materials at the office of either Kateri Court (for Washington Grocery Building & Kateri Court interest; 110 E. Chestnut St.) or Mt. Baker Apartments (308 W. Champion St.) depending on your preference. There is a locked drop box outside of both offices if there is no one available to speak with you.

The second step in the application process is to complete an ORCA background/credit check application form.  The completed form must be turned in with a $38 non-refundable money order per applicant that is 18 years or older. If s/he has lived in any other states than WA, ID and/or OR there is an an additional charge. The fee ranges from currently $17-$75 for the background check to be completed. Contact us and we can look into the additional costs. Fee must be paid in the form of a money order/cashier’s check only. (No checks or cash). Once you turn this in with the money order, we will send off your background check.

After you fill out and turn in an application, you may call the office to set up an appointment to discuss your application or to set up an apartment unit viewing. Otherwise, we should contact you when we are ready to process your application.
